Pabellón is a family-run Venezuelan street food stall bringing generations of recipes and bold Latin flavours to London’s Southbank Centre Food Market. Their menu celebrates two of Venezuela’s most iconic dishes: Pabellón (Venezuelan Rice Bowl) – a hearty plate of rice, black beans, fried plantains, pico de gallo, avocado, and a half arepa, topped with slow-cooked shredded beef, chicken, or vegan-friendly beans. Arepa (Stuffed Cornbread) – freshly grilled cornbread filled with your choice of beef, chicken, veggie, or vegan fillings, served with crispy sweet potato tempura. Both dishes are 100% gluten-free, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Pabellón proves that wholesome food can be healthy, affordable, and full of flavour.

About Pabellón

Our Story

Founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife duo Helios and Karla Gala, Pabellón began as a small stall at Lower Marsh Market with one mission: to share the soul of Venezuelan food with London. Their name comes from Venezuela’s national dish — Pabellón Criollo — a plate symbolising the country’s mix of cultures, represented by rice, beans, meat, and plantains. Today, Pabellón is known across London’s street food scene, even winning the 2019 British Street Food Awards. With roots in family cooking and a passion for tradition, Helios and Karla continue to serve food that unites people around the table, just as it did back home.
