Founded by Abdul, Pakhlaan is inspired by his mother’s home cooking. After years of working at the Southbank Centre Food Market, Abdul decided to honour his heritage by creating his own stall — a place where family recipes could be shared with the wider community.
The name Pakhlaan reflects tradition, authenticity, and comfort. Every dish is served with pride, embodying the hospitality and warmth of Afghan culture. For Abdul and his team, food is more than sustenance — it’s a way to pass on stories and flavours from one generation to the next.
