For food traders & independent vendors
Your free public store, built to be found
When you list with us you get a proper Food Marketplace profile — the same kind of page customers see on Discover and in our markets directory: menu, photos, where you trade, and how to reach you. Link the markets you stall at for extra visibility; if you do not trade at a listed venue yet, your main store is still your home on the platform.
Table of Contents
What customers see on your vendor page
Every approved trader gets a public profile at a stable URL (for example /vendors/your-brand). Think of it as your shop window on Food Marketplace — structured like our live trader pages so people can browse on mobile and share a single link.
- Menu. Dishes, prices, photos — what you actually sell.
- Markets. Venues you are linked to. Each link is another route for customers to reach your listing.
- Story & overview. Your pitch, cuisine, and context — not just a name in a list.
- Contact & socials. Consistent ways to book, follow, or message you.
- Gallery & hero image. Strong visuals that match how people decide where to eat.
- Trust signals. Where we hold them, things like services, certificates, and reviews help you look legitimate at a glance.
Trade at a market we already list? Linking that stall helps you show up next to a venue people already search for — so your visibility can grow across both your main store and the market's pages. No stall on the platform? No problem: your main vendor profile is still the hub we build from your application, and you can expand markets later from your dashboard.
Free listing, modern tech, easier discovery
The standard path to appear on Food Marketplace is free for traders: you apply, we review, and we publish a profile when it meets our quality bar — fair visibility alongside other independents, not a pay-to-win directory.
Built for how people browse
Fast, mobile-first pages and clear navigation (overview, menu, markets, and more) so customers actually use your listing, not bounce off a PDF or a dead social link.
Search engines
We publish structured, consistent information about your brand, menu, and locations so traditional search can index you properly — alongside our own Discover experience.
AI assistants & answer engines
The same machine-readable signals (clear names, dishes, areas, and schema on your public page) are what modern AI search tools use to quote accurate facts about who you are and what you sell — instead of guessing from a messy bio somewhere else on the web.
AI and search rankings depend on many factors we do not control; what we do is give you a clean, structured home base that those systems can actually read.
Why two steps: apply, then claim
Your store is created from what you send us in the join form — that is how we can onboard you quickly and keep listings consistent. The second step exists so only the real trader behind that brand can change it in our systems.
Join application → your public page
You complete the join form with your trading details, menu story, imagery, and where you trade. Our team reviews it and publishes your Food Marketplace profile when it is ready — that page is your storefront, seeded from your submission.
Claim → we verify it is you
When the page is live, you use Claim on your profile (you need to be signed in with a vendor account). We check that you are the person responsible for that business before handing over edit access — so random sign-ups cannot hijack your brand.
Dashboard → you stay in control
After approval, you get the full vendor dashboard: update menu and photos, refresh your story, link markets and stalls, and keep contact details current — everything stays aligned with what the public sees.
What you unlock after you claim
The dashboard is where the listing stops being "what we typed from your form" and becomes what you run day to day. Here is what that means in practice.
Claims & applications
See the status of your claim and keep track of how you joined — useful if you run more than one brand later.
My Foods & add dishes
Keep dishes, prices, and photos up to date so your public menu never goes stale after a pop-up or seasonal change.
Stalls & markets
Link where you trade so customers (and search) see the full picture — main store plus every venue that matters.
Hero image & gallery
Refresh visuals when you rebrand or shoot new content — first impressions stay sharp.
Description & story
Refine how you talk about your food; better copy helps humans and discovery systems understand you.
Contact & socials
One place to fix email, phone, address, and social links so every channel sends people to the same truth.
How your listing appears across the marketplace
Your vendor profile can surface in the same discovery routes we use elsewhere on the platform: dedicated browse, market and venue pages, and site-wide search. Accurate, complete details help you show up consistently wherever food traders are listed.
