Our Story
Stacked Dutch Pancakes began long before the first stall ever opened. Kane and Jessica Harrison grew up in Mt Eliza, just outside Melbourne, where food, family and the excitement of trying something new were always part of their lives. Markets were their happy place — the smells, the sounds, the people, and the endless mix of global cuisines sparked something in both of them from a young age.
When they moved to London, that spark grew into a dream they finally decided to chase. After months of travelling, eating, and soaking up inspiration, they settled in the UK determined to bring a unique slice of tradition to the city’s street-food scene. In January 2013, they opened their first stall at Camden Lock Market.
But they didn’t just serve food — they created joy.
Their mini Dutch pancakes quickly gained a reputation. Freshly flipped, warm, soft, and irresistibly fluffy, they became a hit with locals and tourists alike. Stacked didn’t just follow the Dutch tradition of butter and sugar; they added their own creative twist, pairing the classic poffertjes with toppings like melted Belgian chocolate, maple syrup, fruit, crushed nuts, or the English favourite: lemon & sugar.
More than a decade later, what started as a brother-and-sister dream has become a London street-food favourite. Stacked Dutch Pancakes continues to serve comfort, nostalgia, and a little moment of happiness — one warm, fluffy pancake at a time.
