With roots in Hong Kong and experience living in Australia, Christine and Joe offer a distinct international flair to their cuisine. Joe transitioned from a banking career to pursue his culinary passion, becoming SHOKUDŌ's dedicated chef. Together, they created SHOKUDŌ based on their mutual appreciation for Japanese culture, simple ingredients, and the happiness that comforting food brings.
