About My Kids Are Hungry
Find My Kids Are Hungry at the Southbank Centre Food Market in Waterloo, London, serving up authentic Vietnamese comfort food and Asian fusion street snacks. Founded during lockdown by Vivien — a mother of three hungry kids — the stall brings a taste of home cooking to the market.
Expect banh mi baguettes, chicken and prawn sheng jian bao, and other rare, authentic Vietnamese bites, all made with fresh, natural ingredients. Importantly, all dishes are nut-free, making this one of the most accessible and family-friendly stalls on the market.
Our Story
What began as a lockdown social media guide to home-cooked Vietnamese recipes quickly evolved into a beloved street food stall. Vivien, inspired by her children’s love of food, created My Kids Are Hungry to share the flavours of Vietnam while experimenting with modern Asian fusion twists.
Her dedication to authenticity, freshness, and family values has earned a loyal following. From parents looking for nut-free options to foodies eager for bold, comforting flavours, My Kids Are Hungry is a true reflection of culture, care, and community.
