Leeds' Christmas Markets return across two main sites in 2026. City Square runs 19 November to 23 December 2026, with the space transforming into an "Evergreen Winter Wonderland" this year from the team behind Thor's Tipi. Over at Millennium Square, the Ice Cube ice rink and surrounding stalls stay open considerably later, through to New Year's Eve.
City Square
The main festive market, with food and drink stalls, gifts and crafts, right in the heart of the city centre. Expect the usual seasonal spread of mulled wine, street food and hot chocolate alongside independent traders.
Millennium Square
Home to the Ice Cube ice rink, which runs longer than the City Square market — a good option if you're visiting Leeds later in December or over the New Year period, after City Square has wrapped up for the season.
Getting there
Both sites are a short walk apart in the city centre, easily combined in one visit. Leeds railway station is a five-to-ten minute walk from either site.
